2.5 Mile Volcano Ride, weekend of May 22, 23 of 2004. This ride was to visit the major volcano's in Washington state. We started out with Mt. Baker in the northern portion of the state, then went by an extinct volcano in eastern Washington before heading to Mt Rainier. We had also planned on visiting Mt St. Helens like we did last year, but this year the group was larger and needed more time during stops. Unlike last year's ride, we only got a sprinkle of snow, not enough to really mention. And the temperature only got into the 30's, unlike last year's low of 28 degrees F.
