Between June 27-29 Ray and I took a short three day ride across Washington, crossing into Oregon & Idaho before returning home. We left traveling HWY 410 across Chinook Pass, which still had plenty of snow but the road was excellent.
After arriving in Yakima we followed HWY 24 & 240 to Kennewick and eventually stayed the night in Clarkston.
The second day was full of curves, higher temperatures as we wondered over to HWY 395 and north across White Bird Pass. We eventually ended up back in Clarkston for another night.
The third day we traveled mostly HWY 12 west across White Pass, then at Morton turn north on HWY 7 to home.
Ray kept the trip states:
1204 total miles............ $122.65 lodging
360 miles Wed ..............$115. Ray's gas
444 miles Thur ..............$146. Will's gas
400 miles Fri .................$50 ? Each for food
