This was our first Church ride of 2008, so to start the season we rode around the HWY 101 loop. Seven of us left east Tacoma area at 08:00, 36 degrees and an hour later had breakfest at the Rusty Tractor in Elma, WA. Then it was off to Forks, break along Lake Crescent, lunch in Port Angeles, and back home about 7:00 PM.
Weather consisted of light rain, light hail, heavy hail, a little snow with a rainbow in the distance. The lowest temperature recorded on my Goldwing was 36 degrees, highest 45 degrees, but mostly it was in the 30's. It was a good ride for all.
